Having a shoe rack will help keep your shoes organized instead of piled up on the floor in your closet looking a mess! I have this exact shoe rack and the system works so well! I am loving how neat and organized my closet is and the display of shoes makes me happy!
Get this shoe organizer, I promised you’ll love it!
Throw Blanket Bin
I love buying throw blankets and receiving them as gifts! I have collected a lot over the past few years and was tired of my room looking a mess. I needed something small that would fit in my room and work as a storage spot for all of my blankets. I decided to try a cute bin and this has made my room look that much more put together.
There are so many different ones to choose from, you’ll definitely be able to get one that matches your theme!
Over the door rack
I like wearing belts on a night out and sometimes hats to cover up my bed hair when I have to run to the grocery store and I was tired of trying to hang them onto hangers and them falling off or leaving them once again on the floor in my closet. I found this over the door rack that I love that keeps my belts, hats, and purses organized! No more trying to hide the mess on my floor with this rack!
This was a life saver and such an easy way to keep my closet looking clean and organized!
My roommates and I have game nights all of the time and needed something to store all of our games in our living room without it looking like a mess. When we first moved in we kept our board games on the floor and soon realized this just wasn’t working. We buy new games often and the pile just kept growing! It was so unorganized and we needed an easy fix!
We decided that adding a bookshelf would be the best thing! We could store all of our games and they would still be easily accessible on game nights. This definitely made our living room look way more organized!
Ladder for throw blankets
Like I mentioned earlier, I love my throw blankets. One thing my roommates and I all share in common is our love for blankets. We often have movie nights where we invite friends over and what’s better than having the softest blankets to keep cozy while you’re watching a scary movie? We’ve collected too many to fit in a bin so the next best thing for our living room was a ladder.
This kept our blankets organized, and also our living room looking cute!
Let’s be real, having car keys or apartment keys all over the counters just looks like a complete mess! I know that I misplace my keys a lot and when I’m in a hurry to leave for class or need to be somewhere fast I don’t have time to be looking for my keys. We all needed something that would work but also be cute.
We bought a key holder that had enough hooks for all of us and it has changed our lives! No more being in a panic because we can’t find our keys, or the apartment looking a disaster because we have 8 pairs of keys lying around.
Storage containers for bathroom
These are great for just about everything! I have storage containers in the cabinets above my toilet for my bandaids, medicine, extra tooth brushes, razors, q-tips, and a lot more! These are so useful and handy in keeping your bathroom organized!
I also have storage containers in the cabinet under my sink that has extra hand soaps, my hair products, hair tools, and perfumes. I love these containers because you can use them for just about anything and can keep your bathroom looking put together!
When I moved in I realized I didn’t have anywhere I could store my clean towels. I could keep them in a cabinet but that would just take up extra space that I needed. I started searching amazon to find ways I could store towels without it looking cluttered. I came across this bin and loved it. It was cute and I could keep it on the floor right next to my bathtub!
This bin kept my towels looking very organized in a very affordable way!
3-Tier utility cart
This is not necessary to have but I do recommend getting one as they are great for having extra storage. I started by using my 3 tier cart in my bedroom, it stored all of my binders, notebooks, my planner, and lab goggles. I kept it next to my desk and it was very helpful when classes were moved completely online.
Now, I moved my cart into my bathroom right next to my sink. It stores all of my makeup products and I love how cute and organized it looks. You can use these carts anywhere in your apartment!
Food storage containers
I mentioned in another post that my apartment unfortunately did not come with a pantry. That’s crazy… I know! Instead we had to buy a rack to store our food and we needed something that would make it look a bit more organized. These food containers work so well for storing our food and making our shelves on the rack look so much better!
Although we have a metal rack that’s out in the open, we found an easy way to make our food look organized!amazon
